Mirror Cabernet Sauvignon 2010
The 2010 Mirror is a classic style Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The aromas of this Cabernet Sauvignon are an ever evolving blend of dry rose petals, ripe blackberries, pipe tobacco, dark chocolate, and baking spices. The palate offers layers of complexity—a soft, ripe entry of dark cherry with hints of leather followed by a concentrated core of blackberries, with highlights of vanilla, cinnamon, and cedar.
The Mirror Wine Company story begins with two cabernet vineyards in St. Helena that "mirror" each other across Napa valley. The western half of the two vineyards is just off Highway 29. The eastern half perched above the Silverado Trail. Rob Lawson used this combination of great fruit sources to create their inaugural 2005 Mirror Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. There is a definition given for "mirror" on the back label of each wine: 1) a polished or smooth surface that forms images by reflections, 2) a true representation.
