Michael David Winery 7 Deadly Red 2017
This sinfully delicious red wine just might set you down a path of gluttonous pleasure. Crafted from the diverse and hallowed soils of the Lodi Appellation, where greedy winemakers hungry to craft not just wine, but also a lifestyle of sin. Here for six generations, they've tempted evil's wrath and are eternally damned to deliver decadent wines like their Seven Deadly Red.
Michael David Winery was founded in 1984 by brothers Michael and David Phillips. The brothers represent their family's fifth generation growing grapes in Lodi, California, with roots in the area dating back to the 1850s. During Prohibition, the family continued to grow grapes and sold bricks of concentrated juice with explicit warnings detailing the steps not to take in order to ferment and produce wine from the concentrate – an act that became lucrative while remaining technically legal.
