This wine has rich smells and deeply immersed fruit and oak flavors make this amazingly full-bodied wine hard to stand up to. It has fiery smoky meaty smells, about sweet kinds of dried plums, dates and blackberry jam and a mouth-covering surface that prompts a lasting finish.

"Michael" and "David" are Michael and David Phillips, siblings whose family has cultivated fruits and vegetables in the Lodi locale since the 1850s and developed wine grapes for almost a century. Michael and David comprise the fifth era of grape cultivators in the Phillips family, with the sixth era currently joining the privately-owned company. The Phillips family prefers to stress the significance of value wines with one of a kind and fun labels.
