Metzuda Har Eitan 2012
Blend | Israel
Har Eitan Blend 2012 is the result of meticulous and unique winemaking. Each variety was fermented in separate barrels for 12 months, and after blending the wine was transferred to barrels to age for an additional 12 months. The wine is composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 14% Petit Verdot and 8% Shiraz.
This deep-colored and full-bodied wine reveals coffee, chocolate and vanilla on the nose and a prominent red berry palate with mainly raspberry, cherry and plum and a hint of mint and cinnamon. Soft tannins lead to a long, elegant and velvety finish.
