Meo-Camuzet Marsannay 2011
The Marsannay is a worthy representative of the famous soils of the Cote de Nuits; freshness and structure are characteristics shared by the Bourgogne appellations situated in the renowned wine villages of the region. This wine is characterized by its freshness and its structure and the presence of its aromas. A fine consistency, too, which contributes to the overall balance of the wine.
A winegrowing approach that's rooted in the soil. For the premier crus, the cultivation and treatment of the vines is under Meo-Camuzet's direct and total responsibility. The methods applied are absolutely haute couture: lavish and unstinting care from their team and particular management of each vine stock. They select their AOC village grapes from winegrowers sharing their insistence on work well done. They take personal charge of yields, harvesting, and of course vinification.
