Mara Winery Russian River Valley Old Vine Zinfandel 2007

The color is dark red to purple with slow-moving tears that move down the glass after you swirl it. The aromas and bouquets are of stone cherries and raspberries with hints of vanilla. Because of the richness in the mouth, the wine is soft and smooth. The flavor that comes out in the taste are again stone cherries and raspberries and now fans out with cloves, cinnamon and caramel, and many more facets of flavors.

Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah blend. The Charles F.
