Macarico Rosso del Vulcano 2013

Intense ruby red color. This wine has a elegant nose of fresh red fruit with spice hints. The palate is rich, full, with very fine tannins that give length and persistence. Fresh, pleasant, fragrant, has a beautiful structure and a final full reminiscent of fresh fruit.

This winery and vineyards are located on the slopes of the Mount Vulture, the extinguished volcano from which, more than hundred thousand years ago, lava and ashes fell towards valley. Secular olive yards and very dense vineyards stretch out creating an enchanting atmosphere of sweet and cheering up colors. Here, in the highest areas of "Alto Vulture", at about 450 mt. above sea level, we grow our vineyards and wines of Macarico selection are born.
