Inky dark purple. The wine is loaded with aromas of jammy black fruit, black pepper, and rum raisin. The oak imparted a nuanced cocoa powder and texture to the palate. The wine is ripe, round, and jammy with a little acid to rein in the fruit. The finish persists with fruit flavors without much tannin.
