L'Oliveto Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

The 2012 L'Oliveto Cabernet Sauvignon is deep purple in color, the nose is rich with notes of worn leather, pencil shavings, and ripe plum. The palate is finely textured with dusty tannins, accompanied by a silky mouthfeel.Hints of currant, tobacco, and cedar give way to a seamless finish.

Produced and bottled by L'Oliveto Wines (Legally, Brack Mountain Wine Company founded in 2008 in Sebastopol, California). Their Enos Estate Vineyards and wine cave are located in the Dry Creek Valley in Healdsburg, California. This 2012 L'Oliveto Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from a small vineyard at the base of the Mayacamas Range in Alexander Valley. The soils are rocky and volcanic, with excellent early and mid-day sun exposure, producing a wine full of rich and dark fruit flavors backed up by elegant tannins.
