Complex and full-flavored grenache wine. Serve with roasted meats or stews
Bottled by Jean Pla using grenache vines grown in Maury, averaging 80 years of age and producing only 49.4 acres. The vineyards are located in the Fenouilledes hills whose name is derived from fenouille plants, or fennel, which covers the hillsides. The grapes are manually harvested and fermented for an extended three weeks in tanks, after which the wine is aged for two years in oak until a gentle bottling.
