Jerusalem Winery Special Edition Marselan 2014
Other Grape | Israel
Ten months of aging in French oak barrels, awarded this wine generous flavors of cherry, berry and vanilla with a hint of tobacco. The wine boasts a balanced body and an enjoyable finish.
The winery in its present form was established in 2006, although its roots and wine making tradition are planted in pre-State of Israel Jerusalem (the Shimshon Winery). The winery produces around 2 million bottles annually and the grapes are from various regions, including Shilo, Har Bracha, Givat Nili, the Judean Lowlands etc. The wines are produced from Cabernet, Merlot, Shiraz and other varieties. The winery is kosher lemehadrin, under the supervision of Bedatz Beit Yosef and the Chabad Rabbinical Court.
