Pistus Etna Rosso from I Custodi delle Vigne dell'Etna is a vivid red that captures the volcanic character of Sicily's most celebrated wine region. Made primarily from Nerello Mascalese with Nerello Cappuccio, it is grown on the high-altitude, ash-rich slopes of Mount Etna, often from old, ungrafted vines.
In the glass it shows a bright ruby color, with aromas of wild red cherry, pomegranate, dried herbs, and a hint of smoky minerality.
