Goldschmidt Yoeman Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a secluded vineyard off of Geysers Road. This site is highly prized for its east facing slope which receives gentle morning sun. An eastern aspect is very unusual for the appellation, as almost all vineyards face south and west and therefore must endure the afternoon heat. The Alexander Valley tends to produce wines with higher alcohol and primarily red fruit characteristics, but Goldschmidt Yoeman Vineyard is different in that it shows balanced alcohol, black fruits, and huge structure.
