Glendalough 13 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey

This whiskey has very different and exotic flavours compared with what you'd expect from an Irish single malt. And there's not a lot of it around! This is one to snap up and savor. Honeycomb, vanilla, apricot, and citrus aroma. Velvety smooth flavors with more vanilla, fudge, rock candy, peach and marmalade followed by sandalwood, cinnamon, and oriental spices.

The Glendalough Distillery was set up by a group of friends from Wicklow and Dublin with a passion for reviving the heritage of craft distilling in Ireland. A key influence on the flavor of their whiskey comes from the wood it has spent time in. There are countless nuances in how that wood effects and injects flavor, from the straightness of the tree or fineness of the grain to the size of the barrel or depth of the char.
