The old vines of grenache noir, grenache gris, and carignan provide the sun-drenched fruits with powerful aromas. After the mutage process, the matured wine, in contact with oxygen, delivers an aromatic blend bringing together coffee, cocoa, tobacco, and candied-fruit fragrances. Serve at 55 degrees F.
The Arnaud de Villeneuve winery is situated amidst the vineyards in the Rivesaltes area along the main road the RD900. This is a historic site having previously been home to the Corbières and Bartissol wineries. In 2007 a modern wine production plan was built which allowed the traditions and knowledge of the land to be combined with all the possibilities available from modern winemaking techniques.
