A wine to drink now. Pairs very well with lamb chops, sweet and savory dishes or a chocolate cake with raspberry coulis. Completely round with notes of candied fruit.
The people at Domaine Les Yeuses have pulled another absolutely cracker out the bag. Lovely aromas of earth, ripe plum and black berries with a whiff of violets that gives it an almost Tempranilloesque complexion. The palate is lithe and dainty and all about the raspberry fruit, sorbet -like with its freshness and leaving a lingering note of chocolate cake. Never overblown or shouty, nor weedy and insignificant.
