Domaine Arnaud Ente Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2015
Pinot Noir | France
An overtly fruity but not banal nose consists mainly of red pinot fruit aromas that are cut with hints of earth and red flowers. Otherwise there is good vibrancy to the relatively sleek and refined flavors that display very little in the way of rusticity which is unusual for the appellation.
Domaine Arnaud Ente is one of the leading wine estates in Meursault, and in all of Burgundy. Previously known for their opulent style, Ente's wines now combine richness with balanced acidity and minerality. Production is tiny, and comes from just 4 hectares (10 acres) of vines, which are divided across 10 parcels. Ente's biggest holdings are in the village-level Meursault En L'Ormeau vineyard.
