The wine has cherry fruit and raspberry fruit with hits of black pepper, sage and vanilla. This medium bodied zinfandel has wonderful balance of acid, tannins and alcohol and flavors of berries, cherries and pepper. The long finish is fruity, with a nice acid balance and hints of oak.
The 2008 Napa Valley Zinfandel is blended from 39% Brown Vineyards, 34% Cypress Ranch and 24% Black Sears Zinfandels and 3% Morrison Petite Sirah. These four vineyards Valley all contribute to make this a tasty, balanced and classic Napa Valley Zinfandel.
