Chronic Cellars Suite Petite 2016

The dark inky color of the Petite Sirah can't be mistaken in this wine. Aromas of cigar spice and meaty notes finished with fresh cracked pepper. On the palate, fruits consist of sweet cherry, blackberries, and juicy blueberry with brown sugar and spiced notes. The nice lingering finish from the tannins keeps you thinking about her long after she's gone.

The concept of Chronic Cellars came about in the midst of harvest in 2004. Josh and Jake Beckett had used the term “The Chronic” to describe likable objects before, but they had never considered it a suitable descriptor for wine. They sat alongside the crush pad one evening in their wine stained clothes and wet boots laughing about the idea of a wine that targeted a casual lifestyle.
