Chateau St. Jean California Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
The wine is well structured with a juicy mouthfeel and a full, lingering finish. Vivid aromas of ripe blackberries, plum, spice, and chocolate. Rich flavors of lush black cherries, crushed raspberry, fresh berry pie, and notes of black tea with soft, supple tannins.
Chateau St. Jean, built in 1973 on a family's dream to create a world-class winery, makes its home in the heart of Sonoma — a region of dramatic diversity perfect for growing a wide variety of exceptional grapes. Ever since, they have been passionate about crafting balanced, elegant wines. The winemaking estate is located at the foot of Sugarloaf Ridge in the Sonoma Valley near Kenwood, California. In keeping with the chateau's architecture and sense of place, the wine-tasting and retail room is housed in an elegant garden structure surrounded on three sides by terraces and outdoor garden spaces.
