Deep gravelly soil associated with precise winemaking produce this complex and elegant wine with intense aromas of blackberry, black olive and eucalyptus, good structure and silky tannins. Food pairing roast veal, duck confit and grilled t-bone.
The Familial estate Chateau de France is a 40 ha vineyard located on one of the highest slopes of Leognan. In 1971, Bernard Thomassin bought this estate in the Bordeaux area and from the meeting between him and wine a true passion emerged. His son, Arnaud is the winemaker since 1996.
