Champagne Jean Pernet Tradition
Harmonious blend of the three champagne grapes of Pinot noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay from Jean Pernet's vineyard in Epernay. This wine receives a contribution of reserve wines from previous harvests, giving it its balance and fairness.
50% Pinot noir, 40% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Meunier. The Pernet family started growing grapes in 1948 on about 4 acres located in the heart of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the Cote des Blancs region of Champagne, France. The family's first bottling took place in 1955. Jean Pernet ran his parent's artisanal champagne business from 1959 to 1980, perfecting winemaking techniques and acquiring new plots, with a total of 14.85 acres under vines. In the 90s each of Jean's four children inherited a part of the family's vineyards.
