Since 1929, this winery has been bringing local vignerons together from the outlying areas of Avignon in the Southern Rhone to produce delicious wines that epitomize the region’s complex terroirs.
Eric Texier single-handedly rescued Brezeme, an obscure sub-region of the Northern Rhone where heritage Syrah is grown. This wine is his staple: 100% Syrah produced from middle-aged, south-facing vines. It's a great introduction to Texier's wines, but also just a great value in Northern Rhone loveliness.

Matured in concrete vats, this wine exhibits a brilliant red color with violet glints. An aroma of blackcurrant and raspberries, the mouth is rounded with a soft fruity finish without excess tannins.

With hints of oak and vanilla, this Elixir de Agave is bottled only when approved by our family tasting panel. Our Reposado is enjoyable for sipping or as the high-end base for craft tequila cocktails. Cantera Negra Reposado won the Silver medal at the 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
