The blend of three grapes, all grown in Marani's Kondoli Vineyards: Saperavi, (with its deep red color, intense black-fruit-juice aromas, and big body), alexandreuli (lighter color and texture full of strawberry and sweet vanilla notes), merlot (with its concentrated ripe-fruit aromas at mid palate and touch of green grass at the end), compose a perfectly balanced wine with a bright crimson and brick rim at the edge.
The 2013 Proprietary Red Sloan is from a similar 13 sections of land of domain vineyard. Binyamina Reserve Merlot is made from grapes of the blue-blooded Merlot variety with origins in Bordeaux. The grapes were harvested from our vineyards in two adjacent regions: the Upper Galilee, primarily from Kerem Ben Zimra, on a combination of basaltic and terra rossa soil over hard limestone bedrock with efficient aeration of the roots; and the center of the Golan Heights, with its deep, basaltic soil and good drainage.
This Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc blend is alluring and sophisticated; it is memorably lush with a tapestry of smooth tannins and succulent flavors of wild berries, plum and anise.
A powerful deep red in the glass with aromas of black cherry and ripe red fruits complemented by spicy nuances. The rich and delicate taste is elegantly balanced between softness and acidity, which makes it suitable for tasty pasta dishes and red meat of all kinds.
A silky scarlet red with luminous highlights, this wine opens with a lean earthiness—the scent of rustic wood mixes with sweet spice, a whiff of cigar box, dusty pavement and old leather, infused with garden ripe strawberries and cherries.
