Clos de la Vieille Eglise, the tiny property estate of Jean-Louis and Benoît Trocard, has an opulent bouquet with layers of ripe cassis and blueberry fruit, just showing a little more alcohol than its Pomerol peers. The palate is ripe and generous on the entry. I was expecting it to spill over into something overdone... but no. It is actually very elegant and harmonious with great depth and very fine persistence.
The 2019 Gandona is simply magnificent. A wine of soaring intensity and structure the 2019 marries power richness and depth. Inky dark fruit chocolate black cherry leather and torrefaction all race across the palate. There is plenty of the opulence readers have come to expect here but with an extra kick of vibrancy that adds a feeling of energy the earlier vintages did not have. What a wine! - By Antonio Galloni on October 2021
Warming and deliciously rich nose, the palates foundation is centered on vanilla and oak, with light brown sugar, caramel, and a fruit salad-like pop of sweetness that balances the oak.
The 2022 Pouilly-Fuissé has a brilliant pale yellow color. Its floral nose evokes scents of acacia and honeysuckle. Round and ample on the palate, it reveals aromas of yellow fruits.
Medium to deep red. Berry, plum and spice with vanillin oak aromas on the nose. Medium to full bodied with berry, plum and spice flavours on the palate supported by attractive sweet oak char and spice.
Straw yellow in color, the wine shows delicate aromas of orange flowers, bananas and tropical fruit. On the palate, the flavors are savory, refreshing and contain notes that recall the fruit first felt on the nose.
At first sip, this Chardonnay is fruit-forward and refreshing. Crisp green apple, Asian pear and lemon meringue pie take center stage in our classic, cool-climate Chardonnay.
Revered by vodka connoisseurs worldwide, Chopin's taste profile features a round, full character and a crisp, clean finish with a hint of green apple in the nose. Chopin is distilled four times, the optimum number for enhancing its distinctive character and subtle sweetness.
Planted in 1999, Levy & McClellan is a project by Bob Levy, who has been at Harlan Estate since its beginning, and by Martha McClellan, who is winemaker for Sloan and Checkerboard.
This great wine is the result of demanding vinification and aging processes, as well as the quality of our Syrah and Grenache parcels located at the foot of the famous Mont Ventoux.
