The bedrock is schistous: the same rock that underlies the Port vineyards of the Douro further downstream.
This is very polished and pretty with dark fruit and hints of cedar and vanilla. It’s medium-bodied with well-integrated tannins and a vivid finish. 100% tempranillo. Enjoyable now, but can improve in the bottle.

Pintia 2019 is probably the most vertical Pintia, the most fruitful, but at the same time with a lot of plot. It came with a very silky texture that makes it easy to enjoy, but with an incredible journey.
