Plummy purple in colour with aromas of ripe red and black fruit on the nose. On the palate it is silky and smooth with a hint of spice from the Cabernet grapes. Supple tannins are also present, but not overpowering.
Aged entirely in first - fill ex- bourbon casks, it has a beautiful rich golden color. On the nose, it has a very soft vanilla and banana notes. On the palate, it has notes of caramel, allspice, honey, and dark fruits.
Pale yellow colour. Nose of citrus fruit and green apple. It is a dry, tart, fruity and tropical tasting wine. Full of lemon, pineapple and green apple with a decent buttery finish. Not the most complex of wines but easily drinkable.
Ripe black cherries, wild blackberries, blackcurrants, nutmeg, licorice, mahogany, musk and some dried thyme on the nose. It’s full-bodied and polished with intense blue and black-fruit flavors, wonderfully balanced with wood, spice and smoky notes. Velvety, integrated tannins.
This Chassagne-Montrachet unveils a dark garnet hue. Its nose is characterized by blackcurrant and blackberry. The mouthfeel is ample, supple and has aromas of blackcurrant and wild strawberry. The finale is long and elegant.

Frank Heyden quietly makes this example from old vines, and the quality shines so brightly that all shadows disappear in a fresh, zesty, mouth-wateringly delicious wash of Silvaner-ish-ness. Juicy and floral from start to finish, this is a great example of coaxing the best from a grape.
