Planted in 1999, Levy & McClellan is a project by Bob Levy, who has been at Harlan Estate since its beginning, and by Martha McClellan, who is winemaker for Sloan and Checkerboard.
Beautiful deep violet color with exploding aromas of blackberry, black cherry and blueberries framed by hints of spices and mint. The wonderful aromas are mirrored on the palate and they are joined by ripe plum fruit and notes of toasty vanilla, bittersweet chocolate and a hint of mint on the finish.
Originating in the Jura region of France, the Grivot family settled in Vosne-Romanée right before the French Revolution. In 1919, Gaston Grivot sold his vines in less prominent areas to be able to buy a large plot in the grand cru Clos de Vougeot.
Each Grand Vintage is unique and expresses the Moët & Chandon Cellar Master’s personal interpretation of the year. The maturity of this 2013 champagne—the 75th Grand Vintage in the House’s history—is immediately apparent.
Defined by exuberant fruit, both red and black. Also shaped by familiar Jonata notes of smoked sausage, black pepper, and black plum skin. Fruit sweetness and power also mixed with fennel and Indian spices.
An evocative nose defined by true cassis and gorgeous dark green notes of licorice, dried herbs, and nori. Muscular, dense, and structured; everything cab should be. Manages to also be restrained with black fruit intertwined with dusty herbal notes.
It features an extrovert and joyful nature (neither one-dimensional nor lacking in nuances), with the unmistakable character of a Brunello di Montalcino from the southwestern sector.
Deep purple/black color. Explosive aromas of ripe currant, red berries, and smoked notes. Rich, powerful, and voluminous on the attack. A huge mouthful of creme-de-cassis concentration.
Displaying a bright ruby red color, this wine has a fruity nose of plums and raspberries complemented with herbal notes. The attack shows supple tannins with a balanced acidity that is the secret of the wine's freshness.
The Netofa Tel Qasser Red is a Rhone blend aged for 10 months in French oak barrels. Deep purple in color, fresh blackberries and raspberries on the nose followed by dried violets, lavender as well as hints of grilled meat and black pepper.
