Batch 11 of Kentucky Owl Straight Bourbon is made with casks from a number of distilleries. For the lover of Riesling that isn't dry. This Kabinett's vines comes mostly from the Himmelreich single vineyard in the town of Zeltingen. Full of blue slate soils, the mineral adds a vibrant freshness to this juicy, gushing white wine that has a good dose of orchard fruit and sweetness on the palate.
Rye whiskey aged in casks used to age maple syrup. As penetrating an aroma as maple is, it’s very subtle here. The nose is rye whiskey-spicy, oily, bitter/minty-with just the barest hint of maple. The maple peeps up mid-palate for a sweet turn and lingers into the finish.
Fine, distinguished. On the first nose, a herbaceous, salty and empyreumatic (sleet) peat clearly dominates. Allowed to breathe, it makes way for fruits (apple, pear, Canary melon), flowers (lily, carnation) and mint, all of which bring lots of momentum to the aroma palette.
Top wine from this estate. 100% Listán Negro. Powerful nose of minerals and cherry notes, earth, leather, salt, plums, raspberries and other outerworldly notes. On the palate it's elegant and Burgundian with loads of insane depth and particles floating left and right.
Pale yellow with greenish reflections, this Albariño is intense in the nose, with peach and citrus notes. The freshness and minerality, and the mid-palate are superb, with remarkable acidity and a round, crisp finish.
A wonderful deep ruby red, nose is deep and full and wide of berries, plumy, herbs and spices. The palate is not getting disappointed, nice plum, dates, forest berries, nice spices, vanilla and chocolate nuances.

Conniption American Dry Gin comes to us all the way from Durham (not the one near Sunderland - the one in North Carolina), made with a combination of traditional and modern production methods.
Domaine Jean-Paul Balland Sancerre is a clear appearance with a pale yellow hue. Intense aromas at first, fine, very mild of ripe fruits (peach) with hints of citrus and fresh herbs.
