A delicious Rioja featuring grapes picked from three sub-areas of the region, this wine is intense on the nose and smooth on the palate. Notes of juicy red berries, cocoa, cedar, and herbs lead to a pleasantly long finish. We love it paired with bean dishes, soups and stews, or grilled meat; it's a go-to red for us as cooler weather approaches.

A 25% portion was fermented in aged oak barriques and another in skins for aromatic spice and texture. The combination gives a wine full of varietal characters that express the site here at URLAR.
