Stella Rosa Rosso is a proprietary blend of several red grape varietals including Brachetto. A refreshing red with flavors of strawberry and red berries. Serve chilled with fresh fruit, cheese, spicy cuisine, or desserts.
Aged in large botti for several months, followed by 6 months of bottle aging.
The color is dark ruby-red with purple highlights; nose brimming over with leather, black licorice, coffee and blackberry. This Barbera d’Alba starts out on the palate providing a warm feeling of volume and body, with the fruit blending marvelously with the soft tannins and the acidity, while its finish is long and savory.

The key grape variety of this world-renowned wine region is Montepulciano. It is important to note that this variety is entirely unrelated to the town of Montepulciano in Tuscany, despite sharing a name. Along with this, 15% of Sangiovese is allowed to be blended into the wine.

Although he owns 5.5 hectares of total land, he only has 1.5 hectares under vine—a way of attempting to maintain biodiversity.
