Deep violet in color, intense, and with a great aromatic complexity of red fruits together with floral notes of violets and roses. On the palate, it is a tasty wine with a soft spell and a superb freshness, along with the elegance and power so characteristic of Puente Alto. "Virgen" defines our USDA-certified, no-sulfites-added, vegan, organic wines, the purest expression of our pristine, high-desert Tupungato Valley terroir in Argentina's Mendoza region. Here, sandy/gravel soils, year-round sunshine and 60°F/15°C day-to-night temperature shifts combine for exceptional conditions in which to grow healthy, high-quality organic grapes. The result: super-flavorful, fresh-tasting, naturally elegant wines.

The Dalla Valle wines from the 2011 vintage are an achievement. In many parts of Napa Valley, the season brought challenges, like cool temperatures, early rain, and a relatively late harvest. Dalla Valle's vineyard, perched several hundred feet above the valley, with its western exposure and rocky conditions, performed exceptionally well.
