Tasting Profile: A lighter-bodied, ruby-colored red, with tangy, fruity notes on the palate—cherries, damsons and the like. Richly flavored, with ripe tannins and some acidity. There is a slight, underlying spice to this wine.

In spite of the fact that it seems dim, inky and sinister in the glass, this amaro is on the sweet and delicate side. Thick ripe plums, dim berries and cola, with a pleasingly spiced completion and simply the faintest severe edge.
