Deep color, with a brilliant purple rim. An intense nose, with a fine, floral perfume alongside the ripe red fruit. There are hints of undergrowth, graphite and smoked walnut too. The palate is rich and mouth filling, with smooth tannins that support the wine well. On the finish, alongside the floral and fruit flavors, mineral complexity lingers.
Sourced from vines among Clos de Luz’s oldest vineyards, which makes them some of the oldest Malbec vines in Chile. Hand harvested in small crates for strict fruit selection. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, with pigeage every 2 days. Aged for 10-12 months in 225L and 300L French oak of different ages.
This hearty, sultry, spicy, mouth-filling dark- ruby wine offers raspberry, chocolate, dark licorice, and lightly oaky flavors along with soft tannins. Lovely floral lift with intense, smooth, chocolatey black fruit.
In its youth this is a hefty, muscular beast that gradually takes on an increasingly silky texture as time passes in bottle. Lots of profound dark fruit up front with notes of assorted spice, mint, black pepper and dark chocolate on the nose. The use of oak is judicious and handsome, resulting in a really impressive, elegant wine showing much complexity and finesse.
The intense violet color makes it a worthy representative of the wines from Los Chacayes. A wine of distinct aromatic complexity, with outstanding notes of red fruits, floral aromas of violets, vanilla and cigar.
Intense and deep ruby red. Delicious aromas of berries, plums and black cherries give way to light touches of vanilla and dark chocolate. The presence of black plums and spices stands out, making this wine very generous in the mouth. It has a good structure and firm tannins.

José Zuccardi Malbec is sourced from Paraje Altamira and contains a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon from Gualtallary. Each variety is naturally fermented in concrete vats, using wild yeasts, and is then aged in foudres and second-use barrels for 24 months.
