Kamar is a bright rich wine from selected pomegranates grown in the Vayots Dzor region, which is famous for its pomegranate gardens. The aroma is dominated by tones of pomegranate. The taste is rich, with a delicate thick texture.
In 1848, with the rejuvenation of the Jewish settlement in Jerusalem, Yitzhak Galina-Shor opened the first winery in Israel, in a basement adjunct to the Western Wall in Jerusalem. During the eight generations since its foundation, 1848 Winery continued to grow and gain recognition for its quality wines, re-positioned into several locations, but maintained a tradition of wine production as a way of life.

This Pinot Noir featuring ripe and concen- trated flavors of plum, blueberry and dark cherry which are accentuated by a touch of fresh herbs, light cedar and a fine spiciness.
The wine is made from specially selected Kisi grapes in Akhmeta region. It is characterized by a light straw color, a refined and harmonious taste, aromas of field flowers and citrus.
