Dry, rich, and savory. Notes of stone fruit and lemon citrus are complemented by a hints of pleasant petrol.
More complex flavors including honey and ripe tropical fruits are present with a well balanced sweetness. Soft citrus notes are peeking through and complement the balanced acidity in the wine.
On the noe, honeydew, peaches, flowers. Medium body, medium acidity. The palate is sweet with just the right amount of acidity to balance it out.
Made from late harvested grapes, this Spatlese has strong aromas and is sweeter then Kabinett, however not as sweet as desert wines. Smooth and flavors of plum and pear. Well balanced.
From 1904, Schloss Lieser served as the principal cellar and press house for Freiherr von Schorlemer’s prestigious and far-flung hundred acres [or “45 hectares”] of Mosel and Saar vineyards. Intense floral and fruity aromas with green fruit flavors of apple, grape, and pear, which can extend to citrus and stone fruit flavors, such as lemon, lime, apricot and peach.
From a mix of younger and older vines of 5-40 year old vines planted various plots closer to the river on alluvial soil and sand. Hand harvested, whole bunch pressed with a few hours of skin contact in pneumatic press Natural ferment takes place in mix of older large format cask (500-5000L) and stainless steel followed by around 3 months on full lees with no battonage.
Luminous straw-yellow. Lemon, minerals, lime and pomaceous orchard fruit, and actually not much of the spice typically associated with granite soils. Long and lively in the mouth, and boasting noteworthy clarity and cut thanks to juicy acidity that channels the flavor molecules directly onto the taste buds.

A young sweet white wine- 50% Emerald Riesling & 50% Colombard- Blending these two varieties creates a wine full of life and aromatic variety, displaying tropical, fruity and even floral aromas with a touch of sweetness, which naturally compliments the lush fruit flavors these varieties hold.
This perennially outstanding wine is an especially slatey rendition. What was always a wacky fun wine became quite a bit more lovely and serious when Johannes began introducing more sponti and fuder casks into the assemblage.
This is an "estate wine" that far out-classes its name. Picked from the "Zuckerberg" plot of vines on the Niedermenniger Herrenberg, harvested early to catch maximum freshness and vitality, it combines cool marine character and a touch of creaminess with a firm, lip-smacking finish. Incredible quality at the entry level.
