Alba refers to Quercus Alba, the type of American White Oak that are used to mature A’Bunadh Alba. Coincidently, Alba is also the Scots Gaelic name for Scotland. The English name refers to the light colour of the bark of some species. American Oak trees grow much faster than most European Oak species and can live for hundreds of years.
In this, our first release, 48% of the whiskies have been aged in ex-Sherry casks and 25% in ex-Spanish red wine casks. You will find a whisky that is full, soft and sumptuous on the palate with flavours of citrus peel and pears poached in red wine and spices.

From 100% pure Blue Weber agave, Lobos 1707 Tequila, Reposado reaches its perfectly robust flavor through rest. After ruminating for over six slow months in American white oak barrels, the liquid is blended with a touch of Lobos 1707 Tequila, Extra Añejo and finished at its leisure in historic PX wine barrels using the solera method.
