Aberfeldy 15-Year-Old Limited Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky Finished in Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Casks
The Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks from the Napa Valley bestow berries and spice, imparting a refined blush on Aberfeldy’s honeyed malt in this latest release from the Red Wine Cask Collection.
Glenmorangie Grand Vintage Malt 1997, is vivacious and floral. With a heart aged in rare Château Montrose red wine casks, from Saint-Estèphe in Bordeaux, this single malt recalls a radiant new dawn at Glenmorangie.
Alba refers to Quercus Alba, the type of American White Oak that are used to mature A’Bunadh Alba. Coincidently, Alba is also the Scots Gaelic name for Scotland. The English name refers to the light colour of the bark of some species. American Oak trees grow much faster than most European Oak species and can live for hundreds of years.
Tomintoul is owned by small independent distillers, Angus Dundee, who also own Glencadam distillery near Brechin in the east of Scotland between Dundee and Aberdeen.
Lagavulin Distillers Edition benefited from refining in second maturing Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, which contained a wine made from sun-dried grapes with intense flavors. This 11-year-old Lagavulin is finished for 8 months in Caribbean Rum casks resulting in a symphony of sweet smoke that pairs the delectable sweet notes of the tropics with the smoldering peaty smoke of the irresistible elixir of Islay.

Expertly crafted as the perfect accompaniment to a fine cigar. Matured in ex-bourbon casks then 10 yr old Matusalem sherry butts and finally finished in Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques. Cinnamon, vanilla, and red fruit aromas with toffee notes. Orange zest finish.
