The Pierre Ferrand Ancestrale is an exceptional Grande Champagne Cognac that represents the epitome of the art of blending. With an age of around 70 years, it is part of a rare collection of Cognacs that are among the oldest in the distillery's cellar. These Cognacs are also known as "Vieille Réserve" or "Réserve Limitée", indicating their highly aged status. The production of this Cognac is limited to only 300 bottles per year, with each bottle made to order and presented in a hardwood case.
The Cognac region consists of six vineyard growth areas, called 'Crus'. The grapes used for Cognac brandy must always come from this French region. The area covers the Charente-Maritime, a large part of the Charente and some smaller parts of Deux-Sevres and the famous Dordogne.
