The first impression of the luxurious "Yarden Rom" with a hint of its inspiring aroma points to richness. The "Yarden Rome" delicately and finely structured spoils the nose with characters of ripe red and black fruits.
The prolonged stage in wooden casks give the wine unique quality and characteristics. It is clear and auburn, with greenish spots and so concentrate that is has some viscosity.
This fabulous wine is composed by 100% Chardonnay and praises the denomination Alto Adige DOC. The vineyards are cultivated in the classic area of Cornaiano, on the hills of Oltradige and in Egna, where the lands reach 500 meters elevation.
A deep maroon core with a ruby rim, the 2021 Eight Years in the Desert opens with aromas of wild blackberry, pepper, oatmeal raisin cookie, Sequoia forest floor, bay leaf and spices. This unique bottling is a blend of Cognacs coming from ten demijohns dated from 1853-1906.
