Numerous parts of Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve 23 Year Bourbon are dark: dim organic products, dim flavors, coffee simmered espresso, browned butter singed oak, toasted nuts, and star anise are the champion flavors.
This sparkling wine is bright straw in color with fresh, light green reflections. On the nose, ripe meyer lemon, pears, stone fruit, as well as hints of freshly baked sourdough bread. Light to medium- bodied, off dry, with an almost creamy texture.
