Beginning with fragrances of honey sweetness, peach, and apricot, yet evolving into bolder medicinal aromas, with fresh tobacco, cloves, and eucalyptus. The palate is treated to another contrast of character, yet this time with a maritime feel giving an initial medicinal, salty taste that gives way to sweetness in the form of honey, and then an intriguing note of fresh oysters lingers that brings it back to Islay, along with the subtle peat smoke on the mouth drying finish.
Matured in a combination of the finest Spanish Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso Sherry casks, this exquisite Single Malt Scotch Whisky is non chill filtered. The rich colour is given by the European oak wood in which it has matured and is entirely natural.
King's Falcon is inspired by the ancient tradition in which Scottish kings would enjoy a dram after a day of falconry in the rugged landscape surrounding the River Spey. After traditional distillation and aging in American oak casks, King's Falcon Sherry Cask Finish undergoes a secondary maturation in first-fill sherry casks where it develops layers of sweet spices and dried fruit. Priced appropriately, this scotch is a great option when you're looking not to break the bank.
