Mosmieri Tsinandali 2017 is a white dry wine made entirely from autochthonous Rkatsiteli grapes. Hand-harvested grapes are crushed and after short time cold maceration the juice is fermented in high quality stainless steel tanks with temperature control. Even without Mtsvane grape blending it is smooth and balanced like a classical Tsinandali.
The 2012 is quite pale at the present time, with brilliant green highlights. The nose is well-defined and mineral. Still very young and quite elegant, this wine has yet to reveal its full complexity. However, its class already comes through in the mineral and floral aromas released when the wine is swirled in the glass.
Dry white wine Rkatsiteli Kvevri is made from grapes of the same name, grown in the Kistauri microzone (Kakheti). The wine is created according to the classical technology of making Georgian dry white wines, when fermentation and aging take place in kvevri - huge clay jugs, traditional in Kakhetian winemaking. Wine is aged in qvevri for at least 6 months.
