When you take a sip it’s inevitable that you will sit down, close your eyes and say, “mmm” out loud.
Climat is an exceptional grape selection unique to each vintage, to discover to secrets of our terroirs and keep a memory of its unique characteristics. Grand Cru “rich and structured” with a dark and glistening robe. Concentrated nose with fragrances of dark fruits, spices, undergrowth and distinguished oak notes. Mouth filling, with persistent tannins melted into the fruits. Harmonious finale, aromatic and intense.
Deep red and blue fruits dance with saline minerals, licorice, crushed flowers, gamey underbrush, and spice in this vibrant, velvety ’11 Morey-St-Denis. Fine-grained, polished tannins coat the cheeks as this wine crosses the palate with a silky, sophisticated feel.
Smooth, with a floral perfume, red cherries and berries, and some toasty sweet spice. Pleasingly savoury too, with some dusty layers of wet leaves, meat, and mushroom.
The Les Charmes Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru is a formidable classic. It lives up to its name and is an example of the best that Burgundy has to offer. Its refined elegance lies on a foundation of a fleshy, concentrated palate and, when still young, assertive tannins that mellow with age.
There are pacts that can not be denied! "Angels pact" is an exceptional wine. It has a dress of deepintense red, rich concentrated aromas of black fruits with hints of violet and cocoa in the nose. Silky taste showing depth and elegance with notes of blackberry and blueberry.
This Bordeaux wine comes from the Côtes de Blaye appellation which is known for providing some of the best value wines. It offers a medium body with intriguing and generous notes of black currants, blueberries, tobacco and mild spices. It's perfect balance and soft tannins make it a great accompaniment to any meal.
This north-facing limestone site is cool and late ripening. In a warm year like 2019 its quality soars. There is such a fine acidity and outstanding length. I was really blown away by this, and can’t wait to see how the fruit and acidity entwine further with some bottle age. Nervous and tense, this warrants attention.
