Anne-Marie and Jean-Marc Vincent inherited most of their vines, principally located in and around the village of Santenay in the southern Côte de Beaune, from Jean-Marc’s grandfather, André Bardollet-Bravard.
The colour of this Grand Ardèche is characterized by a pale golden colour. This wine offers lovely notes of brioche, almond, fresh apricot and vanilla. The ample mouth reminds aromas of almond paste and vanilla. Nice final tension.
Planted in the grand cru vineyard Brand, the vines are north facing, ideal for Pinot Noir in this climate, as the wine is guaranteed to be fresh even in hot vintages. Since joining the family operation, the young Arnaud and David have shown remarkable ambition and precision in their work ethic: they have increased the family holdings to twenty-one hectares, adding single-vineyard cuvees while constantly striving for more complexity and layered texture in the mineral-driven beauties they produce.
This Bourgogne "Pinot Noir" 2021 is a noble and full wine. It has a resplendent colour combining grace with vigour and associating strength with finesse. On the palate fresh raspberries are in evidence when the wine is young.
