Giraud Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge is a distinguished red wine hailing from the prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation in the Rhône Valley, France. Crafted with a traditional blend of grape varieties, including Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, this wine showcases the rich terroir and expertise of the Giraud winery.
A combination of the sky and the ocean, La Maison Bleue is a perfect symbol of the terroir from which it comes. This cuvée has benefited from the warmth of the South-West sun to develop body and complexity, while at the same time enjoying an oceanic climate which gives it freshness and vivacity.
30 - 50 years vine age. All wines are hand-harvested and sorted during harvest, maceration lasts 2 or 3 week. Fermentation takes place in cement tank. Wines are aged on average for 15 months in barrel. No new barrels - barrels are 1 or 2 years old. Wines are not filtered nor fined.
