A young vine, peppery and juicy Syrah with aromas of violets, spices and blackberries. A great freshness, soft and fleshy tannins, as well as a persistent finish.
Bright pale pink. The nose is intense with floral fragrances blending with small red fruit. Smooth supple mouth. This wine can be enjoyed on its own or will go beautifully with hors d'oeuvres, cured meats and barbecues.
Some gentle earthy and leafy aromas around redder fruits with nicely played oak spices. The palate has a strong core of linear tannins, which remain plush at the edges and smoothly groomed.
Vinified from fully ripe grapes, Tourelle de Terre Bonne reveals an opulent bouquet of blackberry, cherry and blackcurrant confiture on the nose, underpinned by sensual vanilla and gentle rum notes.
Château Haut Beaumard is located in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards on a plateau overlooking the bank of the Dordogne. This fleshy and structured wine, offers a complex bouquet of dark fruits with toasty notes. On the palate, the flavors flow into a very nice balance. An uninhibited wine, easy to open in any occasion.
Elegant Sauvignon blanc from the Loire Valley. Notes of pear and citrus. This Pouilly Fumé shows pale yellow with a pronounced bouquet of white currants. It is dry, lively and fresh with well-defined fruit. Grown on the opposite bank from Sancerre, this wine is a little more complex and flowery than Sancerre.
After sorting in the vineyard and winery, the grapes are de-stemmed then directly put in tank. The spontaneous fermentation then starts. The grapes will stay in tank for roughly three weeks during fermentation. The wine is then put in oak barrels, by gravity, for 10 months (no new oak). No fining is performed.
Our vin de pays de la loire is made from vines about 29 years old planted on stony slopes. Very open, this Sauvignon remains true to tradition an is a well-balanced wine that shows vivacity from the attack to the finish. The palate offers a long fresh and fruity finish, whilst releasing aromas of white flowers.
Smooth, with a floral perfume, red cherries and berries, and some toasty sweet spice. Pleasingly savoury too, with some dusty layers of wet leaves, meat, and mushroom.
Almost entirely Merlot, this wine comes from a vineyard made up of 13 different parcels. Richness comes from the Merlot that dominates, offering generous black fruits, ripe tannins and finishing acidity. The wine will be ready from 2023.
The first-growth 2005 Château Margaux (85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot), a lavish fragrance of blackcurrants, velvety new saddle leather, spring flowers and spice soars from the glass.
Tasted at the château, the 2005 Chateau d’Yquem delivers a similar performance as last year. Lucid in colour, the bouquet is detailed with very pure honey, vanilla and almond scents, still a little new oak to be fully assimilated but demonstrating superb focus.
Ripe black fruits and dark-chocolate flavors highlight this powerful wine. Fresh black-currant acidity backed by light notes of pepper. 83% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc.
