Deep garnet-purple, the 2016 Estate ‘Alluvial Selection’ Cabernet Sauvignon comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant crème de cassis, chocolate-covered cherries, charcoal and menthol scents with touches of garrigue, smoked meats and roasted nuts.
Vivid garnet in color with perfumed and inviting aromas of rich dark cherry, plum, chocolate, and layered undertones of vanilla, clove, black pepper, and sage. A well-balanced expression of fruit and oak elements fills the palate with cassis, bright cherry, dark berry, toast, cedar, and a hint of vanilla. Round but structured, with well-knit tannins that impart texture and length on the finish.
“The Brooklynites 3.0,” our third orange wine, is made from Gewurztraminer grapes grown in Los Carneros, Napa Valley. The orange hue of this wine comes from the skin contact and maceration during fermentation; the same process that gives red wine its color, tannins and also contributes to its flavor.
Deeply saturated, jewel-toned wine. A seductive nose displays aromas of black cassis, lifted violets, and dark-chocolate shavings. Gentle swirling coaxes further notes of cigar box and potpourri which set the stage for a stunning palate layered with flavors of cedar, cracked black pepper, black licorice, and bergamot.
The 2018 vintage show lovely aromatics of dark fruit, clove, black pepper, vanilla and toasty oak. Rich in the mid pallet, this wine coats the mouth. With a long finish this is a big wine and it will only get better with time. The soft integrated tannin and long finish draw you back for the next sip. Drink now, or age for 5-8 years.
Hand-harvested on September 19th, the Mourvèdre grapes were foot-tread and fermented 100% whole cluster with native yeast, basket pressed, then aged in five neutral oak barrels for ten months, then bottled July 12th 2018.
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Price is powerful and dense in the glass. A touch of reduction attenuates the aromatics, but the Price is always a wine more of texture than anything else, and it is easy to see all of that richness.
Aromas of boysenberry, black cherry, and fig with accents of forest floor are highlighted in the 2017 vintage. On the palate, intense, concentrated flavors of blackberry, black cherry and boysenberry are balanced by traces of minerality and opulent tannins with a dense, powerful black fruit finish.

This Zinfandel is crafted from vines up to 80 years old, capturing intense flavors and rich texture. The wine is balanced and not overly sweet, a style modeled after some of the most historic Late Harvest wines of France.
The 2020 Screaming Eagle is one of the great surprises of the year. Energetic and vibrant in the glass, the 2020 offers a bit more energy than most readers are likely used to. All the elements are so well balanced.
