Luminous Hills Vineyard Pinot Noir - We speak often about our preference for ripening fruit with light rather than heat. It is why we work with high elevation sites that take time to develop. In vintages where the sun is bountiful, we retain tension, clarity and delicacy. At Luminous Hills in this vintage those characteristics abound, and at the same time, the wine is is luxurious.
A balanced yet lively Cabernet Sauvignon with notes of ripe black currents and lush blackberries, accentuated with herbal aromatics of sage, mint, and sweet tobacco. Sourced from Sorenson and Haymaker vineyards on the west and east-facing sides of Howell Mountain, this wine has a long velvety finish.
The Frank Family's vineyard is in the eastern hills of Rutherford. This wine is supple and generous. It's saturated with ripe black fruit, fattening the texture and smoothing over the tannins.
Audeant Pinot Noir is blended to capture the beauty of small, thoughtfully tended vineyards tucked against forests high in the hills of the Willamette Valley. Late ripening sites, farmed for biodiversity, deliver fruit packed with energy, ripened by light, balanced with tensile acidity.
Herzog Be-leaf is a certified organic Cabernet Sauvignon made with no added sulfites. Organically farmed in the warm rolling hills of Paso Robles, the grapes were harvested late in the season. This late ripening provides the optimal harvest brix, tannin and acid needed for high quality wine making without the use of sulfites.
Belle Glos Chardonnay from Glasir Holt vineyard boasts a refreshing acidity and a rich mouthfeel with flavors of tropical fruit, lemon zest, and a hint of vanilla. The wine is well-balanced and has a lingering finish. This Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay is a true expression of the terroir and is perfect for any occasion.
100% Pinot Noir from organically farmed vineyards within the Willamette Valley. The majority of the blend is from Finnigan Hill Vineyard - a higher elevation site in the Chehalem Mountains AVA. Other vineyard sources include Claygate Vineyard in Ribbon Ridge AVA, Johan Vineyard in Van Duzer Corridor AVA, as well as Roshni and Cassin Vineyards in McMinnville AVA. Fermented with native yeasts and matured in neutral French oak.
Johan Vineyard is an 85-acre, Demeter-certified biodynamic site in the Willamette Valley, south of McMinnville and west of Salem. This site is almost always our last Pinot pick of harvest. Although it's a relatively low-elevation site, due to its proximity to the coast and the winds that howl through the Van Duzer Corridor every summer afternoon, the fruit here tends to ripen later than in our other vineyards.
