The 2021 DAOU Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a shining example of world-class Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles. This wine’s magnificent nose is quintessential Cabernet Sauvignon, offering scents of dark chocolate, licorice, blackberries and cured meats with a touch of cedar.
The aromas on this fully ripe 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon show lovely dark cherry and cocoa notes, baking spices and cedar bark, anise, currants, berry jam. Full, soft and velvety at entry, the palate impression is broad and very smooth, with bright fresh fruit elements.
The 2019 Coeur de Vigne represents a vibrant rendition of a classic Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon. Made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, the nose offers rich aromas of blackberry and blueberry that meld with hints of graphite, lavender and thyme.
Dark garnet in the glass, commanding aromas of blueberry, cassis and cedar preview a bold, mouth-filling palate stacked with concentrated layers of ripe blueberry, black cherry and baking spices.
The origin of Lot C-91 began in the fall of 1969 when Joe Heitz created this one-off cuvée, which was very normal in those days, as a more premium version of his already iconic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon bottling. Joe envisioned Lot C-91 as a greater step up in quality from the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, with a higher quality of fruit sourcing, coming exclusively from the sought-after single vineyards of Heitz Cellar.
The 2019 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has notes of red cherry, raspberry, blackberry, iris, vanilla and clove. Ruby in color, this elegant wine has great acidity and lift on the mid-palate. Black currant and warm baking spices linger with a deep and fruity finish. It will provide drinking pleasure through 2047 given proper cellaring.
This Failla Chardonnay from the Sonoma Coast is a bright and vibrant expression of California's cool-climate Chardonnay. On the nose, aromas of ripe citrus, white peach, and honeycomb are complemented by subtle notes of toasted oak and baking spices.
Reddish-purple and very aromatic with notes of pomegranate, black cherry, and raspberry, mixed with hints of cassis, chocolate, and slight peppery spice on the nose. Lush, lively texture with lovely black cherry and pomegranate fruit, bright acidity to balance the sweet fruit flavors, black pep- per and clove spice, and a long, lively finish of black cherry, pomegranate, and hints of licorice and cocoa powder.
The three varieties of Rhone are grown in our Backyard estate's vineyard and offer a sense of place and passion. We are working with McGah Vineyard Grenache in Rutherford to offer raise and concentrate along with great texture in order to complement our estate-grown field mix. Petite Sirah from the Shipoke vineyard in Calistoga completes the composition and gives focus and inky scope.

Vivid aromas of black cherry, baking spices and savory herbs resonate on the nose. Sleek, yet silky tannins glide across the palate with a graceful feel. The succulence of the palate lingers with subtle flavors of cocoa and licorice.
The EABA is more Syrah-dominated and checks in as 65% Syrah, 22% Mourvèdre, 10% Grenache, and the rest Viognier that saw plenty of stems and close to two years in 50% new French oak.
